BIOGRAPHY
A five-piece outfit whose members all hail from the same village in Kent. Having ALL attended the same primary school; they’ve literally grown up together.
You could even say that "Circle of Rage" was formed way before they even held any instruments. Through a mutual passion for alternative music coupled with recognition for strong, indicative lyrics, it seemed the next logical step for them to decide that...
..."We can do this!" "Let’s make a band.....so...who wants to play what?"
So that’s exactly what they did. They learnt to play and six years later, (March 2007), play they did!

From the moment they committed to the idea, they have worked tirelessly to hone their sound to what they KNEW they wanted. As a band, Circle of Rage are true believers in the "power of words", reflecting their discontent with political systems of control and the power over many in the hands of the few, (think "Anti-Flag", "Bad Religion"). Whilst their music takes a range of inspiration from 80’s metal i.e. "Metallica", "Pantera" to more recent Hardcore offerings in the vein of "Cancer Bats", "Death by Stereo”, “The ghost of a thousand".
Instead of mere imitation however, they strive to marry any influences with more original structural concepts, so retaining their musical ingenuity and independence.
They have been described as a cross between ‘Refused, Megadeth and Sick of it All’! With lyrical content that far surpasses the majority of bland dialect which is typical of the current ‘heavy scene’ around the world, punching through with political clout and wisdom beyond their years.
As far as subject matter goes; there is a very apparent secrecy in the upper levels of our society yet despite this, we are asked to follow our appointed leaders with an unwavering, and therefore, unnatural conviction.
We, as a people, NEED to ask questions and demanding truth in times of deceit is indeed a revolutionary act.
Why all the secrets? What do they know? A seemingly innocent question….
The mindless may call the band conspiracy theorists, but they’ve been taught to conveniently forget that conspiracies DO exist regardless of the theory. Let’s face it; they also make for awesome song material.
After all, they write about what they learn and wish to share their views on this mad world with all who will listen. To those who do not want to hear it.....good luck with that!
Their intense live shows are a force to be reckoned with, and whether you find yourself loving or hating them, you will be sure to find your head turning in their direction, with their ‘in your face’ sound, unable to be ignored.
